Promoting Research on the Classical Nepal Thoughts and Culture
The establishment of Nepal Study Center Japan (NSCJ) - the Center hereafter - started with a tiny initiative by a small group of seekers of truth with a mission of understanding and disseminating what is discovered in the study and research conducted by members of the Center. Our main initiative is to promote studies of Nepal, particularly the classical Nepal thoughts and culture that less Nepala-logists and other academics have paid attention to. The Center will also promote studies on Japan-Nepal relation and their peace building role in the Globe through scientific study and research. We also focus on multi-ethnic societies and state policies in Asia in comparison to distinct social structures of Japan and Nepal.
The NSCJ is a non-profit educational institute supported by its members. We cordially welcome new member scholars, benefactor individuals and organizations interested in NSCJ mission and its initiativees as detailed here.
