Tribute to a Japanese Martyr - Yutaka NABATAME
Today the July 3rd of 24 years ago (1997), Japanese Buddhist monk Nabatame became a martyr for peace loving people. While working on building a peace pagoda in the Sacred Garden of Lumbini, Nepal, where the Buddha was born, Nabatame was killed by a bunch of assassins for no reason. The killer is still at large despite two decades from his assassination passes today. While reminding the Nepal's authority to bring the assassin to justice, let's pay a heartfelt tribute to this worthy lover of peace. For more information, you may read an article published soon after his death.
